One Young World(OYW)is one of the world’s largest youth summits, bringing together around 2,000 young leaders aged 18–32 from over 190 countries. First announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2009, OYW serves as a global platform where the next generation of leaders gather to collaboratively address pressing global challenges under the guidance of world leaders. As a worldwide initiative for public-private-academic partnership in leadership development, the summit continues to expand in both scale and network.
The 2025 summit will be held in Munich, Germany.
Okayama University is now recruiting students to participate in OYW as part of its commitment to cultivating “transformative pioneers” — individuals who contribute to regional and global innovation and the co-creation of a desired future.
